Garlic and lemon have health-improving properties, for instance increasing the health of the arteries. The ‘bad’ cholesterol builds up on your artery walls when its levels are very high, and this decreases blood flow, putting you at risk for heart attack or stroke. There are medications which help in decreasing the bad cholesterol, but natural dietary changes like eating more garlic and lemon are beneficial, too.
Method 1
Ingredients:
-1 cup of lemon juice
-1 cup of ginger juice
-1 cup of garlic juice
-1 cup of apple cedar vinegar
How to prepare it
mix all the ingredients together and boil it for half an hour, or until balance of 3 cups. Let it cool down and then mix 3 cups of natural honey.
Transfer the mixture into a glass bottle and store it in the fridge. Take 1 tablespoon each morning before breakfast.
Method 2
Ingredients:
-6 peeled lemons and cut into small pieces
-30 cloves of garlic, chopped into small pieces
How to prepare it:
put all the ingredients into a food processor or blender, top up with adequate water and blend. Pour it into a pot and then add 2 liters of water, bring it to boil and then simmer for 5 minutes. When it cools down, sieve the liquid and transfer into a glass bottle. Discard the residue and store in the fridge.
How to consume it:
Drink 50 ml each day for 3 weeks, and then stop for 1 week. Drink 50 ml after that each day for the next 3 weeks. This treatment may be repeated every 6 months.
Method 3
Ingredients:
-3 lemons
-15 cloves of garlic.
How to prepare
put the ingredients in a food processor or vitamiser and top it up with water. You may add a bit of sugar for taste, and then vitamise. Pour it into a metal pot and repeat the process with the other 3 lemons and 15 cloves of garlic.
Finally, wash the vitamiser with another liter of water and pour it into the pot. Bring it to boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour the liquid through a strainer and then let it drain into another pot. When it is all drained, let it to cool down for some time. Pour it into bottles by using a strainer and funnel. Give it time to drain through the strainer, but do not keep the slurry from the strainer, just throw it away. Finish up with 3-4 liter bottles quantity, store in the fridge.
Do not use plastic bottles as they may cause serious health issues when filled with warm liquid (plastic particles leach into liquid in bottle.
How to consume it:
drink 1 standard glass of the mixture every day for 3 weeks and then stop for 1 week. After that, repeat the same procedure for the following 3 weeks. Repeat the procedure for 12 months, or whenever you feel like it as long as you allow a pause between the treatments.
You can warm the liquid if preferred or dilute it with water and ice for a refreshing supper drink. The lemons will kill the garlic smell on your breath.
